Pathworking: Dissolving Wetiko Through the Gate of A’ayin
A Ritual Descent into the Shadow, Guided by the Thoth Devil and the Light of the True “I AM.”
I. Preparation
Environment:
Dim the lights. One candle is enough, preferably black or dark indigo.
Place the Thoth Devil card before you, upright, at eye level.
Breath:
Inhale for 4, hold for 4, exhale for 8.
Repeat until the body loosens its armor.
Opening Statement:
“I enter the Gate of A’ayin not to submit to illusion, but to see through it.
I walk through shadow to restore the Light that I AM.”
II. The Descent Into the Eye of A’ayin
Close your eyes.
Visualize the Hebrew letter ע (A’ayin) glowing before you, black fire on brighter blackness.
A violet crack opens in the center of the letter, growing into a door of prismatic darkness—the Eye that sees the unseen.
Step through.
You find yourself descending an ancient stone stair spiraling downward. Each step echoes like a heartbeat.
You feel the density of matter, the weight of incarnation, the gravity of Capricorn pulling you into the core of self.
At the base of the stairs stands a vast cavern.
Torches flicker.
The smell is earth, musk, instinct—life unfiltered.
III. The Appearance of the Devil (Pan Form)
From the shadows emerges the Thoth Devil—a towering, luminous creature crowned with spiraled goat-horns, his eyes spirals of dancing starlight.
He radiates joy, mischief, and truth.
He radiates Life.
He laughs—not at you, but at the absurdity of fear.
His voice vibrates inside your ribcage:
“All that you fear is only yourself wearing a mask.
Bring it forth.”
IV. Confronting Wetiko
A shape forms behind you—shifting, quivering, half-shadow, half-noise.
It is not a monster.
It is an imitation of you—a hollow puppet animated by fear, scarcity, and survival reflex.
This is Wetiko:
the parasitic thought-form,
the counterfeit ego,
the emotional addict that feeds on your unawareness.
Examine it without judgment.
Notice its posture, its voice, its weakness.
Pan speaks again:
“You fed it by abandoning your own light.
Call your light back.”
V. Reclaiming the Light
Place your palm against your Solar Plexus (Tiphareth-in-the-body).
A golden sphere ignites there—the true “I AM,” the Solar Self.
Feel it growing.
It expands like the rising of the Sun inside your chest.
Now inhale sharply and imagine pulling golden light from your center outward—
toward the Wetiko-shadow.
This light does not attack.
It does not fight.
It simply reveals.
And as soon as Wetiko is seen—
It loses shape.
It flickers.
It collapses like ash in water.
Pan chants softly:
“A’ayin restores sight.
Sight dissolves illusion.”
VI. Integrating the Shadow
In the space where Wetiko stood, a new shape emerges—not distorted, not parasitic.
It is a younger version of you, or perhaps simply the honest emotional body—unmasked, unguarded, vulnerable.
Approach it.
Open your arms.
When you embrace this reclaimed fragment, it merges back into your heart, restoring energy that once leaked into fear and reaction.
Your back straightens.
Your aura brightens.
Your breath deepens.
Pan nods, satisfied.
VII. Receiving the Gift of A’ayin
Pan raises a hand to your forehead.
A sigil of A’ayin burns briefly upon you—then sinks inward, becoming a new organ of perception.
You now see without distortion.
You see desire without shame.
Instinct without fear.
Shadow without panic.
Life without separation.
Pan whispers:
“You are not enslaved by the animal.
You are the Light within the animal.”
VIII. Ascent and Closing
Pan steps back into the cavern’s darkness.
You ascend the stone stairs, feeling lighter with every step—
as though a weight has fallen from your spine.
You pass back through the letter A’ayin.
The door closes.
Open your physical eyes.
Gaze at the Thoth Devil card and say:
“The Light I AM dissolves all illusion.
I reclaim my sight.”
Extinguish the candle.
Take a slow breath and ground yourself gently.
IX. Optional Integration Questions
You can offer these to your readers/students to deepen the work:
Where did Wetiko operate most strongly in my life?
What energy returned to me when I dissolved its mask?
Which instincts or desires have I demonized that now want integration?
How does my perception shift when I view the body as sacred?
What new clarity did A’ayin open within me?
Thank you for your interest, comments, and supportive donations. May you live long and prosper.
