Here is a ritual designed in the Western Hermetic and Thelemic tradition, centered on the Chariot (ATU VII) as the soul's prepared vessel to unite with the Holy Guardian Angel (HGA)—the Solar Self. This rite blends symbolic visualization, Qabalistic invocation, and inner alchemical direction.

For aligning the Ruach (soul-body) with the Holy Guardian Angel

🌞 Purpose:

To consecrate the Chariot of the Self (Ruach) and open conscious communion with the Holy Guardian Angel—understood as the Solar Self or Divine Will manifesting through Tiphareth.

🕯️ Preparation

• Perform during a Sun hour, or on Sunday, ideally during a waxing Moon.

• Arrange your altar with:

  • A small golden disk (Tiphareth/solar talisman)

  • A Chariot card (Thoth Tarot preferred)

  • A wand or scepter (symbol of Will)

  • Incense of frankincense and cinnamon

  • White and yellow candles

🜁 Constructing the Chariot (Visualization)

Close your eyes and visualize a luminous cube forming around you—this is your Merkabah, your body of the Adept.

• Each corner of the cube is lit by one of the fixed signs:
  🔥 Leo (Fire) – front right
  🌊 Scorpio (Water) – back right
  🌬️ Aquarius (Air) – back left
  🌍 Taurus (Earth) – front left

See the Sphinxes, one black and one white, forming at your feet. They look ahead, but pull in opposite directions. Your Will must guide them.

Place the wand/scepter across your lap in the vision, then raise it slowly to your solar plexus.

🌕 Invocation of the HGA

“By the Sun in my heart and the stars in my spine,
By the Name of Tiphareth—Beauty Divine,
By the Balance of Chesed and Geburah,
I call Thee forth, my Star, my Angel, my Self.”

Raise your wand to the sky and vibrate:

Visualize a radiant solar figure descending toward you, made of light and gold. It stands just above the cube, a mirror image of you but transfigured. This is your HGA.

Silently commune with the figure. Speak or listen. Ask:

“What is Thy Will for me, O Radiant Soul?”

Spend at least 5–10 minutes in inner dialogue or receptive silence. Write down impressions, symbols, or words received.

Return awareness to the body. Hold the golden disk to your heart.
