Purpose

To experience and integrate the primordial union of opposites—the chaotic, pre-cosmic embrace of Lilith (untamed Feminine) and Python (untamed Masculine). This ritual restores contact with the raw life-force underlying creation, transmuting fear and repression into ecstatic power and divine harmony.

Qabalistic Context

• Lilith: Shadow aspect of Binah (Magnetic, Receptive, Womb of Chaos)

• Python: Shadow aspect of Chokmah (Electric, Forceful, Serpentine Spiral)

• Union: The unformed polarity beneath the Path of Daleth (Door/The Empress) that later harmonizes as the 2 of Cups (Love).

Preparation

Timing

• Waning Moon (to descend into shadow) or New Moon (to contact the Abyss).

• Planetary hours of Venus (union) or Moon (shadow/feminine).

Tools and Symbols

• Black and red candles (Lilith’s colors).

• Green or deep blue candle (Python’s chthonic serpent energy).

• Two cups of water (symbolizing the 2 of Cups).

• Visualize standing at the edge of a primordial sea beneath a black starry void. The Tree of Life has not yet been formed; only swirling currents of light and darkness spiral in vast chaos.

• Ahead lies a massive obsidian archway—this is the Door of Daleth before it was sanctified. Step through into the primal womb.

4. Invocation of Lilith (Magnetic Current)

Raise arms in a crescent gesture:

“Lilith, First Bride, Mother of Untamed Waters!
You who refused subjugation, whose womb births angels and demons alike—
I call you, Dark Moon of the Abyss!
Come forth in your shadowed beauty;
Teach me to drink the sweet venom of freedom.”

Visualize a dark-winged figure rising from the depths, eyes like twin eclipses, hair like flowing night. She encircles you in black flame.

5. Invocation of Python (Electric Current)

Strike the ground with foot or staff, forming a spiral motion with hands:

“Python, First Consort, Serpent of Gaia’s Core!
Dragon coiled in the roots of the world,
Father of raw force and spiral fire—
I call you, Lord of Earth’s primal thunder!
Rise and entwine, awaken the coiled current!”

Visualize a massive emerald serpent emerging, lightning crackling across its scales, coiling around you and Lilith’s form.

6. Union and Ecstasy

Visualize Lilith and Python entwining in ecstatic embrace—a dragon-serpent and black-winged goddess spiraling upward around you, merging above your head as a radiant vortex of black and green light.

Chant slowly:

“Agape — Thelema — Eheieh — Chokmah — Binah — Daleth!”

Feel the currents merging within you—magnetic and electric, receptive and forceful. Allow fear, shame, and repression to dissolve into blissful surrender.

7. The Blessing of the Two Cups

• Take the two cups of water.

• Pour one into the other as you say:

“As above, so below.
As chaos, so harmony.
As Lilith, so Python.
One love, eternal and unbroken.”

Drink the water, internalizing the union.

8. Integration and Return

• Visualize the vortex of Lilith and Python slowly spiraling downward into your heart, becoming a still pool of harmonized power.

• Step back through the archway, emerging onto the shore of the primordial sea, carrying this love into form.

9. Closing

Perform the Qabalistic Cross again. Thank Lilith and Python:

“First Mother and First Father,
