The Invocation of the Emperor

Atu IV – Tzaddi – Aries, Heh, the Solar Architect of Form

Accoutrements

• Altar Setup:

  • Central Thoth Emperor card placed upright.

  • Red altar cloth (color of Aries/Geburah).

  • Two candlesticks with red candles (flanking the card, representing authority and dominion).

  • Incense of Mars/Aries: dragon’s blood, cinnamon, or frankincense.

  • Cup of wine (for the chalice of rulership).

  • Sword or Dagger (symbol of authority and clarity of will).

  • Ram’s horn or figure (if possible; otherwise, a sigil of Aries).

  • Pentacle/Seal of the Emperor (you can inscribe Tzaddi צ, Aries glyph ♈, and the alchemical triangle of Fire).

• Robes and Colors:

  • Scarlet or crimson robe.

  • Crown, circlet, or diadem if desired.

  • Optional: a golden belt (to symbolize Tiphareth directing Aries-force).

Opening

1. Purification:

   • Asperge self and altar with salt-water.

   • Pass censer with incense around yourself and altar.

2. Banishing:

   • Perform the LBRP or Star Ruby, to establish sacred space.

3. Statement of Intent:

   “I invoke the Lord of Dominion, the Solar Emperor, He who governs the foundations of order, the ram of Aries, Heh of Tetragrammaton, to establish sovereignty within and without.”

Pathway of the Emperor

• Qabalistic Placement: The Emperor (Tzaddi) links Netzach (Victory) with Yesod (Foundation), channeling fiery will into astral form.

• Astrological Attribution: Aries, ruled by Mars.

• Divine Name of Atziluth: YHVH Tzabaoth.

• Archangel: Kamael.

• Order of Angels: Seraphim, the Fiery Serpents.

Invocation

Stand before the altar, raise arms in the sign of Aries (both arms upward and slightly outward, like horns).

Say:

“By the Ram who leaps forth at dawn,
By the Scarlet Lord of Fiery Dominion,
By Tzaddi, the foundation of the house,
By Heh, the window of the soul,
I call upon Thee, Emperor of the East,
Lord of Order, Sovereign of Sovereigns!

Thou art the Ruler enthroned upon the cubical stone.
Thou art the Fiery Seed that governs form.

Come forth, O Emperor of Atu IV!

Grant me clarity of command,
Steadfastness of Will,
And sovereignty over my own kingdom of Mind, Body, and Spirit.

By the horns of the Ram, by the flaming Sword,
By the crimson robe and the Cubic Throne,
I call Thee into this temple and into my soul!”

Meditation / Pathworking

• Gaze upon the Thoth Emperor card.

• Visualize yourself seated upon the Cubic Stone of Malkuth, clothed in red and gold, crowned, scepter in hand.

• See the Ram of Aries at your feet, your Will radiating outward like fire, stabilizing all chaos.

• Affirm silently:

  “I am Sovereign. I am the Architect of my world. I rule by the authority of Spirit.”

Offering & Declaration

• Lift the chalice of wine:

  “To Thee, O Emperor, I pour this libation in honor of Sovereignty. May Dominion within reflect Dominion without.”

• Sip the wine as a seal of union.

Closing

1. Thank the Emperor, Aries, and the Seraphim.

2. Extinguish candles.

3. Perform a brief Qabalistic Cross or LBRP to seal the rite.

Notes for Use

• This invocation may be adapted for Solar Self empowerment, establishing sovereignty over one’s own psyche.

• The rite works best at the New Moon in Aries or during Tuesday (Mars day) sunrise.

• If using for talismanic consecration, place the talisman upon the card during invocation and seal with incense smoke.
