Ritual of the Celestial Self: Invocation of the Solar Breath

For use in Hermetic alignment to the True Self, as guided by the Thoth Tarot.

Purpose: To attune the practitioner to the Celestial Self (Holy Guardian Angel) through Solar pranic alignment and Tarot pathworking. Includes optional rebalancing ritual for harmonizing the "I AM" presence.

Tools Needed:

• Thoth Tarot Deck

• Yellow, gold, or white candle (Tiphareth light)

• Frankincense or Solar incense

• Robe or attire symbolic of Tiphareth (gold, white, or with a sun emblem)

• Chalice of water (optional)

• Optional: colored stones for chakras or chakra-aligned sigils

I. PREPARATION

1. Set the Temple

   • Face East. Place the candle at heart level.

   • Lay out the following Thoth Tarot cards on the altar:

     • The Sun (ATU XIX) — radiant Solar Self

     • The Hermit (ATU IX) — inner wisdom seeker

     • The Fool (ATU 0) — pure Spirit-Breath

     • The Aeon (ATU XX) — soul-awakening

     • 6 of Wands – Victory — Tiphareth in Atziluth

2. Breath Alignment

   • Breathe in for 6 counts, hold for 6, exhale for 6. Repeat 6 times.

   • Visualize golden solar light entering through your skin and chakras, especially the Heart.

3. Lighting of the Flame

   "I kindle this flame in the name of the Celestial Self, that breathes the body and speaks as the Sun within me. As this flame burns, so does my Spirit rise to its source."

II. INVOCATION OF THE CELESTIAL SELF

Stand in a posture of openness, hands lifted slightly, palms forward.

*"O Thou Radiant One, Inner Sun of all Suns, Breath behind breath, Light behind light —

Descend unto me now, Not as a stranger, But as my True Face, My Secret Fire, My Beloved within.

Through the Gate of Tiphareth, Through the Path of the Hermit, Through the Joy of the Fool, Through the Trumpet of the Aeon — I awaken to Thee.

Thou art the Breath that makes the body live, The Will that gives the Word form, The Sovereign who rides the Chariot of Form.

Unite me now to the depth of my own Flame. As Above, so Within."

III. MEDITATIVE PATHWORKING

• Gaze upon The Sun card. Imagine stepping into the card.

• Feel the warmth and presence of the Celestial Self behind you.

• Allow a name or phrase to rise — your Solar Word.

• Whisper it with each breath for 6 full rounds.

IV. REBALANCING RITUAL OF THE “I AM” PRESENCE

This ritual clears chakra blocks caused by misaligned thought-forms (e.g., "I lack") and replaces them with Solar I AM affirmations to restore breath-mind-body harmony.

1. Lay out the Adjustment card (ATU VIII) before you. Light a second candle if desired (white or blue).

2. Touch each chakra point lightly and speak the aligned decree aloud:

• Root (Malkuth) — “I AM Safe. I AM Grounded.”

• Sacral (Yesod) — “I AM Creative. I AM Flowing.”

• Solar Plexus (Hod/Netzach blend) — “I AM Power. I AM Worthy.”

• Heart (Tiphareth) — “I AM Love. I AM Balanced.”

• Throat (Daath Pathway) — “I AM Truth. I AM Expressed.”

• Third Eye (Chokmah/Binah synthesis) — “I AM Vision. I AM Clarity.”

• Crown (Kether) — “I AM Light. I AM Divine.”

3. Between each affirmation, take one deep solar breath. Visualize the corresponding chakra as a spinning golden disc receiving the Word.

End with: “I AM the Breath. I AM the Word. I AM the Balance of Spirit, Mind, and Body.”

Hold silence for a few minutes.

V. CLOSING AND THANKSGIVING
